Rs 10.9 LAKH DONATED TO CHIEF MINISTER’S RELIEF FUND
Imphal, July 16, 2107 (DIPR): Several organisations have continued to extend monetary donations to help flood victims in the recent spates of flood occurred in different parts of the State to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Today as well, several organisations contributed a total of Rs. 10.9 lakh to the CM Relief Fund. In a solemn ceremony held at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Babina Group of Companies led by their Managing Director Dr. Th. Dhabali contributed Rs 5 lakh, Panthoibi Housing Finance Company Ltd. led by Shri Th. Hemo Singh donated Rs 2.10 lakh, Manipur Tourism Forum donated Rs 1 lakh, Chamber of Commerce donated Rs 1 lakh, JBB Constructions donated Rs 1 lakh, Education(S) Departmentally Verified Adhoc/Unitil further Order Employees Association donated Rs 50,000 and Manipur Relief Association donated Rs 30,000 to the Chief Minister.
It may be mentioned that several organisations and Schools such as Mega Manipur School, Apunba Manipur Matam Ishei Kanglup (AMMIK), Manipur Home Guards Employees’ Welfare Association and All Manipur Government Aided College Teachers’ Association (AMGACTA) etc. had already donated to the CM’s Relief Fund to help those people who are severely affected by the recent floods in the State.
The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to all the organisations which had contributed generous donations to the CM Relief Fund so far. (DIPR)
